Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers who live in Gainesville, TX, or within approximately 15 miles of the area to provide personalized in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living.

Our caregivers provide physical assistance, emotional support, and companionship to help clients remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.

We are looking for reliable individuals who are committed to providing quality care, maintaining client dignity, and building trusting relationships with clients and their families. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to consistently arrive at their assigned shifts.

Preferred Location: Gainesville, TX, and surrounding communities within approximately 15 miles.

Job Requirements

• Reside in Gainesville, TX, or within approximately 15 miles of the area preferred

• At least one year of personal or professional caregiving experience, or an active CNA credential

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance

• Ability to pass required background checks, driver's license review, and drug screening

• Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to client safety

• Reliable transportation and consistent availability for assigned shifts

• Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and electronic visit documentation

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed

• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility

• Provide medication reminders or permitted medication assistance according to the care plan

• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related needs

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Maintain the client's dignity, comfort, and safety

• Communicate client concerns or changes in condition to the office

• Arrive on time and accurately clock in and out using the company mobile app
